7DAYS GORILLAS AND WILD LIFE IN UGANDA.
Day 1 Boat cruise.
After your early morning breakfast, you will meet your guide for briefing and set off to Queen Elizabeth national park. Queen Elizabeth is the second largest park to Murchison and is well known for its abundant wild life and vast plains of savannah grass land making it easy to conduct game drive. It is in the rift valley and all the lakes there were formed as a result of volcanic eruption
This is the best boat cruise in southern Uganda. It is done on a channel where Lake George meets Edward. It has wonderful views of the most important wild life ventures in Uganda. It is on these lakes that you will find hundreds of different bird species, a school of hippos and much wild and aquatic life enjoying.

Day 2 Game drive and Chimpanzee tracking.
You will early after breakfast, drive to Kasenyi plains the game zone in the vast open Savannah grass land and search for wild game. They keep moving in search for food and remember they are wild animals thus dangerous.
Enjoy the Elephants, herds of Buffalos, cobs, water bucks, bush bucks, hartebeests and many more. You will drive through different tracks and then later visit the salt lakes. Experience how the locals mine salt manually and their effects on their bodies. Then relax at the lodge.
In the afternoon, you will drive to the park headquarter for briefing. You will be briefed on the dos and don’ts when with the Chimpanzees. Remember, they share 98% of human DN. You have a full hour given to take as many photos as possible for your memory. Drive back to the lodge for overnight.
Day 3 Game drive.
This day you will have breakfast then traverse through Maramagambo forest a thick tropical rain forest in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth. You might on the way meet herds of Elephants migrating, Different monkey species as well as bird species. This region is famous for the tree climbing Lions. Take chance and search for them on the fig trees and from down. You will also drive and search for more animals then proceed to Bwindi impenetrable national park.

Day 4 Gorilla trekking.
This is our major highlight in this region. Gorillas are a unique animal and one of the endangered species only found in this forest in the entire world. They are among the rare animal species that are highly protected.
After breakfast, you will be driven to the head quarter for briefing on the dos and don’ts when while with them. You must be fit for hiking because they are highland Gorillas. It involves trekking up through thick forests and sloping down which might cause your muscles to pain slightly. Your guide with a help of panga (machete) will create a path for you. You will be given 2 hours with them and take as many photos as you want. Drive back to your lodge for lunch and relax.
Day 5 Evening game drive.
Wake up for breakfast and wipe off memories of the thick forest and its inhabitants. Check out and drive through the unique terrain to one of the smallest national parks in the country. Have lunch in Mbarara (Igongo) then proceed to the park. Check in at the lodge
And prepare for an evening game drive. This park has all animals in big numbers and has the most peaceful animals. Including: Zebras, Giraffes, Buffalos, Eland, Impalas and many more. Unlike animals in other parks, here, you stand a chance of getting much closer to the animals and greet them.

Day 6 Morning game drive and boat cruise.
Have a sunrise breakfast then drive back to the game zone and enjoy them more. This is the only park where we find Impalas. You will get a great experience of getting closer to the wild animals (not buffalos). You will after wards straight away go for the boat cruise on Lake Mburo. This is one of the most gazetted areas for Birding. It has over 1ooo bird species with beautiful colours. After 2 hours on the boat, you will embark on the long journey breaking it at the equator for lunch then proceed to Entebbe.
